David has over 12 years of experience in financial services providing term debt, sub debt and investment banking services to entrepreneurs, mid-market and large Canadian public companies. As First West Capital’s Regional Director, Ontario, David will assist mid-market businesses across all industries with expansion, acquisitions, management and shareholder buyouts, and high ratio real estate through customized subordinated debt financing.

Prior to First West Capital, David’s positions included District Director and Associate Director at Roynat Capital, Associate at BMO Capital Markets and various positions at GE Capital.

David holds a Masters in Business Administration (Finance) with honours from McGill University and Bachelor of Commerce (Business Management) from the University of British Columbia.

An avid supporter, David was one of the top fundraisers in 2015 for MotionBall, an event benefitting Special Olympics.  He also supports and raises money for the Terry Fox Foundation, as well as regularly races in the Terry Fox Run.
