Central City Brewers continue to tap into the craft beer market with their new facility

In an effort to keep up with the growing demand for their award-winning craft beer, Central City Brewers opened the doors to their state-of-the-art, 65,000 square feet brewery in November 2013. Over the next five years the brewery will be ramping up production significantly to meet the needs of the growing market, and capital was required to help fulfill their large scale expansion plans.

Working capital needed to support expansion

With the funds from First West Capital, Central City Brewers now have the ability to further capitalize on the popularity of the craft-beer movement as well as build the market for their line of spirit coolers, Betty’s Iced Tea. They also have plans to roll out their first spirits, gin and vodka, in September 2014.

“I have a lot of trust in the team at First West Capital. They immediately recognized our vision for growth and matched our passion for our business with their entrepreneurial financing expertise,” explains Frost. ”They were able to quickly identify our needs and create a solution that worked – it was a pleasure working with them.”
